The Role
We are looking for a Casual Retail Assistant to join our Melbourne team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and excited to represent a sibling-run Melbourne label. You'll be part of a close-knit team delivering an experience that feels personal, creative, and aligned with the Alpha60 brand.
What You’ll Be Doing
Customer Experience: Deliver warm, considered and personal service to every customer
Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of Alpha60 products—fabric, fit, care and story—so you can confidently support customers and offer styling advice
Sales & Styling: Listen to customer needs and offer thoughtful product suggestions; upsell naturally and in a way that adds value to the customer experience
Teamwork: Work collaboratively with team members and contribute to a respectful, supportive environment
Floor Readiness: Assist with tidying, restocking, visual merchandising and general upkeep to ensure the store remains beautiful and functional
Efficiency: Manage your time well, complete tasks promptly and support the team during busy periods with energy and attention to detail
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in fashion retail (preferred but not essential)
- A genuine interest in the Alpha60 brand and aesthetic
- Confident communication skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of customers
- A collaborative mindset and a positive attitude
- Availability to work across weekdays, weekends, and peak trade periods

Assistant Store Manager Sydney

The Role
We are on the hunt for a dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team at Alpha60 Sydney. We have two positions available at both our Newtown & Paddington Stores. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a friendly, fun and creative fashion environment. As the Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of the store operations.
What You'll Be Doing
Your main responsibilities will include assisting with inventory management, providing excellent customer service, and offering training support to the sales team.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a love of fashion and a keen eye for detail. You will thrive in a busy store environment & have a passion for providing exceptional customer service. Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi task are essential in this role.This role would be suited for a part time or full time candidate.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Must be able to work x1 weekend day
