Cotton Care Guide

We love using cotton fabric wherever possible, as it’s a durable, natural fibre with a beautifully versatile nature. Depending on the weave, cotton can feel crisp and structured or soft and fluid, allowing us to create a wide range of looks and finishes. Cotton is breathable and comfortable to wear, making it an easy everyday choice that works across seasons. It’s also hard-wearing and easy to care for, which helps garments maintain their shape and longevity over time.

Washing

Care instructions may vary by garment, so always check the individual care label.

  • Cold wash only. Do not wash in warm or hot water
  • Gently shake garments after washing to help restore shape and release creases
  • Take care around the neckline to avoid overstretching
  • Lightly reshape while damp if needed
  • Dry away from direct sunlight
  • Lay delicate garments flat to dry
  • Pants can be hung to dry

Spot Cleaning

White fabrics require extra care.

  • Avoid spot-cleaning products, as they can cause yellowing over time
  • Sun exposure can worsen discolouration
  • A gentle overall wash is the safest option

Ironing & Steaming

Use gentle heat to protect the fabric.

  • Use low heat and a pressing cloth
  • Steam is suitable for sturdier styles
  • Avoid pressing too hard, especially over delicate areas
  • Cotton garments can also be steamed to remove creases
