Jacquard & Brocade Care Guide

Jacquard and Brocade pieces are made using artwork designed in-house, which is what gives them that extra-special feel. Unlike prints, the patterns are woven directly into the fabric, creating beautiful texture and depth you can really see and feel. They’re a bit heavier too, which makes them perfect for adding colour and interest to your wardrobe during the cooler months.

Washing

Jacquard and brocade fabrics require professional care.

  • Dry clean only
  • Do not wash at home, as the fabric may shrink
  • Dry cleaning helps protect shape and intricate details

Ironing

Use gentle heat to protect the fabric.

  • Use low heat and a pressing cloth
  • Steam is suitable for sturdier styles
  • Avoid pressing too hard, especially over seams or delicate areas

Delicate Disclaimer

When you’re wearing it, be a mindful around jewellery, bags or rough surfaces to help prevent pulls and extend the life of the garment, as this type of fabric can catch more easily.
